Northwestern Memorial Hospital
Challenge
Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) launched a broad-based marketing campaign in fall 2009 to announce the unveiling of 300 healthcare quality ratings, across all areas of patient care in the hospital. The ratings reside in a section of NMH’s new website, which launched August 31, 2009. NMH needed to create an online component to the campaign that would build awareness and drive traffic to the NMH website.
Solution
Torque created a messaging platform and integrated banner ad campaign that could speak to a disparate set of audiences. We created three distinct treatments of the campaign, which allows NMH to test the campaign in market and fine-tune it over the course of its year-long run.
Result
The banner ad campaign launched in October 2009, and the most recent results show that the campaign is successfully increasing brand awareness and motivating users to make repeated visits to the NMH website. In another sign of the campaign’s effectiveness, visitors to the site have explored beyond the ratings section, reaching out to the hospital via the site’s Physician Finder tool.

Goose Island asked Torque to design a site for 312 that unifies all the programs connected to the beer. We developed a fun, bold flash experience, putting the beer at the center of the 312 universe so fans can easily follow all related marekting events.
