Right about this time of year in Chicago, living in Arizona sounds really appealling. It's been especially hard on us because we've been working with our client The Prime Group, Inc., on a website to promote their newest property, The Palms at Augusta Ranch.

Just in time for the first massive snow storm of the year in Chicago, Ian and Ron launched a site that is fully equipped with a snazzy Flash interface and lots of really nice warm, sunny photography to remind you that you would much rather be living in Arizona. Take a look at the new site here:

One month after we started work with Power Plate on a website to promote their newest product the my5, we are happy to announce that they have a spiffy new Flash site up and running. We think Ian and Ron did a hell of a job on it, considering they had about two weeks to design, animate and code the whole thing. Santa's elves have nothing on our boys.

Check out the new site and the Power Plate my5 here:

If that wasn't enough, Eric and Gerry have been working hard on the first installment in a series of three viral animations to promote the my5. See the first viral animation here:

The only thing we love more than Goose Island beer is winning awards for the work we do for the Beer Company, and we are happy to announce that the identity that Adam designed for Brewmaster Greg Hall has won Silver in the Neenah Paperworks Letterhead and Identity Design Competition. In addition to fame and glory, Adam gets a fat $300 award prize, that he will no doubt spend on more Goose Island beer.

We are also especially happy to announce that Goose Island's newest beer in their highly sought after Reserve line will hit the shelves this week with a label that Adam designed for it.

The new beer, dubbed the Imperial Brown Goose, will look a little different than the other Goose Island Reserve Beers. That's because it'll be in these whomping big 750ml bottles with black foil wrapped around the necks. Sexy looking beer if we do say so.

Why the special format bottles? Well a historic beer deserves a bit of pomp and circumstance, and this is one special beer. It's the first beer in America made by blending multiple vintages of the same beer that has been aged in bourbon barrels for differing amounts of time.

The base beer is Goose Island Christmas Ale. 2004 and 2005 vintages were aged in two different kinds of bourbon barrels – Jim Beam four-year-old barrels and Heaven Hill 12-year-old barrels, respectively – further differentiating the flavor profiles of these two blended beers.

When it comes to barrel-aged beers, Goose Island knows their trade. Their now-famous Bourbon County Stout was the first bourbon-barrel-aged stout in America, and Imperial Brown Goose looks to extend their leadership role in the category of luxurious barrel-aged craft beers.

We are more than pleased to be a part of the release of this newest beer, and will be scrambling to get as many bottles as we can. We hope to see you grabbing some in the aisles as well, assuming you don't buy up our share.
