CREA
Brand
Identity
CREA, or the Chicago Real Estate Alliance, is an affiliate of the Chicago Chamber of Commerce. Its mission is to stimulate the business economy of the region by bringing together business segments related to real estate, from developers to labor, from materials manufacturers to architects, giving them a strong collective voice and advocacy for the pursuit of business value creation. CREA is leading key development initiatives in Chicago, such as the Central Area Plan, which proposes a number of urban improvements. These include numerous transit system and public area and green space projects, and supporting Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid.
In addition to designing the logo and brand identity, and supporting CREA in the above initiatives, Torque is also developing CREA’s messages for each real estate related vertical, and producing a resource database website that will server the larger community.

Graphic Design USA Awards
Torque is running out of room on our award shelves- we've recently been awarded eight new American Graphic Design Awards by Graphic Design USA magazine. This annual competition has been held for over thirty years to recognize outstanding work in print and collateral materials, advertising and promotion, corporate identity, and other areas of graphic design. Matt Hoolehan joins Torque
Matt Hoolehan joined Torque in April, as
senior account manager and marketing guru. His experience at Noble BBDS, and
most recently in Ambrosi, bring the strategic chops we’ve been looking for.

Torque aids opening of Power Plate Institute
Torque is pleased to announce that we've begun working with the Power Plate
Institute, a training and retail facility for Power Plate athletic devices,
to plan their United States debut. While the Institute has been in operation
in Europe for several years, their first American facility will be opening
in Lincoln Park in May of 2007. Visitors to the Institute will have the opportunity
to learn about, test, or even buy Power Plate equipment, as well as attend
regular training sessions with instruction from experts. We're helping to plan
a Grand Opening ceremony, so stay tuned to our website for updates on this
exciting event.

Imperial Brown Goose Release
Goose Island's newest beer in their highly sought after reserve line will hit
the shelves this week with a label that Adam designed for it. The new beer, dubbed
the Imperial Brown Goose, will look a little different than the other Goose Island
Reserve Beers. It'll be in big 750ml bottles with black foil wrapped around the
necks. Why the special format bottles? A historic beer deserves a bit of
pomp and circumstance, and this is one special beer. It's the first beer in America
made by blending multiple vintages of the same beer that have been aged in bourbon
barrels for differing amounts of time. Look for it on retail shelves near you.

Neenah Paperworks Letterhead Design Award
We are happy to announce that the identity that Adam designed for Brewmaster
Greg Hall has won Silver in the Neenah Paperworks Letterhead and Identity Design
Competition. In addition to fame and glory, Adam gets a fat $300 award prize,
that he will no doubt spend on more Goose Island beer.

Powerplate MY5 Website Launches
One month after we started work with Power Plate on a website to promote their
newest product the my5, we are happy to announce that the new Flash site we
built for them is up and running. Additionally, Torque simultaneously launched
a viral campaign to drive traffic to the new website.

Augusta Ranch Website Launches
We are happy to announce that the new Flash site we built for the Prime Group
Inc.'s newest property, The Palms at Augusta Ranch, launched today. The new site
features stunning typography, beautiful photography and a highly interactive
user interface.

Eight American Graphic Design Awards
Torque wins a whole handful of awards for client work across a broad spectrum
of industries. Torque recieved recognition for its Goose Island Matilda logo,
Goose Island Imperial IPA logo, Goose Island Handrcrafted Soda packaging,
Fox and Obel brochure and website, Stephen Hamilton Photographics website,
the House of Fine Chocolates website and Bluwood's brochure.

Torque Guides Wilson Golf into 2007.
Wilson Sporting Goods has engaged Torque to position and brand its golf
division, as well as further market and unify its six core product brands
under the Wilson Golf brand. A catalog and website that market the product
brands to men, women and youth golfers are scheduled for launch in late
2006.

Torque Launches Baum Property
Chicago's Baum Brothers, LLC, awarded Torque the assignment of marketing its
latest property, the Cooper Lamp Building on west Diversey. Baum Brothers, a
premier Chicago retail real estate firm, plans to develop an entirely new concept
for the retail and office space, and has asked Torque to position and market
the property in a fresh and unexpected way. The campaign will hit the Chicagoland
market late fall 2006.

Torque receives 2006 BMA Pro-Comm Award
Torque wins the 2006 National Business Markeing Association Best of Division
in the Total Communications Program category, for work on the BluWood® branding
campaign for client WoodSmart Solutions, Inc. The campaign included brand positioning
of BluWood, a next-generation lumber technology that protects homes against mold,
moisture and insects. Torque launched the brand with a marketing campaign consisting
of a website, print collateral, and print and Internet marketing. View the case

Torque recognized twice in the 2006 How International Design Annual
Torque received design awards for our work on the promotional brochure for
Stephen Hamilton Photographics, and the Goose Island Beer Company's line of
soda packaging.

Torque executes Gulf State recovery event for
U.S. Gypsum
USG conducted a special construction exhibition in Baton Rouge, LA over the
course of a single day. The exhibition revolved around viewing, in real-time,
the eight-hour framing of a 1,700-square-foot, 3-bedroom, single-family home
using USG's light-gauge steel product and unique service methodology. Local
and state political leaders, builders, code officials, carpenters, and media
attended the event. Torque executed all the print, environmental and multimedia
support for the event.

Torque launches the newly re-designed Fox &
Obel.com
Fox & Obel, Chicago's premiere gourmet grocer and culinary destination
launched its newly redesigned website. The launch of the e-commerce
site was coordinated to capitalize on a surge in activity generated when Fox
& Obel was featured on the list of "Oprah's Favorite Things 2005." In
its first month the site was a resounding success, greatly exceeding expectations

Sweet Success: Torque Launches House of Fine Chocolate Website
The House of Fine ChocolateÍs (HOFC) e-commerce site www.houseoffinechocolates.com debuted
just in time for the holidays. HOFC is a Chicago-based bakery, confectioner
and high-end chocolatier, steeped in long-standing European
traditions of gourmet desserts and cakes. The objective of the site was
to drive traffic to the unique north side store, and increase online
commerce. Rich imagery, a deep story that goes back to a European schooling
from the 1930s and an intimate design make browsing the sight an indulgence
in itself.
Moving to an online commerce model is opening up huge avenues and a new
business for HOFC. We expect great things from them, and we encourage you to
go tempt your taste buds there.

in design and communication. The five Torque projects to be featured in their
2005 awards annual are Goose Island's Classic Packages, Goose Island's 312

and Torque's own holiday card.
