For BluWood, the web offered a channel for delivering deep, and constantly changing, content to multiple audiences. Test results on the product were becoming available frequently, and publishing them on the website was an important strategy for building credibility among skeptical builders. We also recommended employing quotes from respected experts in the field and from the growing pool of satisfied customers. Including survey data and EPA statistics on the problems of mold and insect infestation further supported the value and relevance of the product.

The BluWood website (www.bluwood.com) was a central piece of the BluWood launch campaign, and along with the branding, print ads and collateral, won the 2006 BMA Pro-Comm Award for Total Communications Programs.
